Fishery Rules

 

1. Strictly no dogs allowed on site.

2. No Alchol permitted whatsoever on fishery grounds.

3- No disruptive behaviour.

4- All children under the age of 12 to be under adult supervision at ALL times.

5. No litter to be left onsite, use available bins provided and close lid top's properly.

 

Trout Pond Rules

1. No barbed hooks after bag limit reached.

2. Only retain the number of fish you have paid for.

3. No lead core fly lines.

4. No boobies to be used after limit reached.

5. Anglers must keep to their own pegs and not intrude on a fellow angler's spot.

6. Once two fish have been caught at one peg, you must move clockwise 3 pegs( Only in Competitions)

7. Unhook fish carefully in the water with wet hands when catch and release( avoid use of net where possible).

8. no breaking strains less than 4lb and heavier than 10lb.

 

Coarse Pond Rules

1. No keep nets to be used(only permitted in competitions)

2.Fishery ground bait and pellets to be used ONLY.

3. no weights heavier than 7oz.

4. Strictly barbeless hooks ONLY to be used on coarse pond.

5.No fish to be retained.

6.No dead baits to be used at any time.( We do not stock Pike)

7. No breaking strains below 6lb or above 15lb.

8. No hook lenghts to be lighter than 4lb.

9. No hook sizes larger than size 8.( For carp)

 

If these rules are not complied with, offenders will be asked to leave and may be refused further access to the fishery complex.
