We offer expert advice catering for the novice to the avid angler. Our methodology is specific to fly fishing for fish belonging to the salmonidae family i.e Trout, Grayling, Sea-Trout Salmon aswell as other species of fish belonging to salmonid and char family . We will diversify in the many celebrated fly fishing techniques used in catching these fish- dry fly(imitative), wet, nymph fishing- Czech/Polish/French style, streamer fishing, aswell as the re-discovered ancient technique brought to the west- that is Tenkara fishing. This advice will be based around Loch-style fishing, stocked fisheries, streams and burns, but predominantly river fly fishing techniques. However, when conditons for fly do not allow; we will take to the spinner/ bait fishing disciplines-especially trotting for grayling( winter time).
Both Euan and I have been fishing from a very young age. I started out when I was 5 years old at Harelaw Trout Fishery and automatically fell in love with the sport. Euan started out on a small, local river- the Calder. Now we travel, for now, the length and breadth of Scotland in the search for nice fish. We are members of three angling clubs: Eaglesham Angling Assosiation, East Kilbride Angling Club and The Avon Angling Club. We actively participate and contribute to all. We are both head of the Junior committee for East Kilbride.
